A little about the Provider...
Rebecca "Becky" Bigness is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare to individuals and families throughout Cayuga County. Originally from Wyoming and raised in Weedsport, New York, Becky earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2014) and Master of Science in Family Healthcare (2021) from Binghamton University's Decker School of Nursing.
With a background in emergency nursing and experience in primary care practices in Oswego and Camillus, Becky is skilled in managing both acute and chronic health conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, anxiety, depression, asthma, allergies, and women's health. She provides primary care for patients of all ages. With a particular focus on individually tailored plans of care.
Committed to improving access to quality healthcare in rural communities, Becky emphasizes strong patient-provider relationships and convenient, streamlined care, including in-house laboratory services.
She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to participate in their healthcare decisions. Becky finds pleasure in helping others, and enjoys time with family, friends, & pets, being in nature, singing, and dancing.
